If you ask your neighbor to define the word church you might get a variety of answers. Many use the word church to describe a building where Christians meet. Some use the word to describe an organization. Others use it to describe people who are Christians. In January we will define this term, remembering that we Christians are the church, and will look at four different purposes of the church; Exaltation, Encouragement, Edification, and Evangelism.
