The Sunday Morning Experience @ WSkids Square
Welcome to WSkids! My name is Crystal Dawson and I am the children's minister here at Westside! I can't wait to meet your children and grow with them! We offer a tailored worship experience for ages birth-8th grade that provides lessons and captivating Bible memory tools and friends. They will be connected to God and scripture through his creation and will have plenty of opportunities to learn God’s word through a multisensory experience. Be on the lookout for take home talk starters so you can discuss everything they learned in our immersive worship experience.
What Does Sunday Morning Look like?
You will be welcomed in and directed to check your child into our kids worship space we call Westside Square. You will be provided a name tag for your child and a matching security tag.
Nursery

Age: Birth-Potty Trained
In this class children will have a short lesson tailored just for them. They will sing songs, hear a story and experience God's creation through all their senses. There is also ample opportunities to play and interact with our skilled volunteer staff and peers. If your sweet little one is in distress and in need of you, our staff will promptly page you on our restaurant style buzzer system. |
The Zoo

Age: Potty Trained - Pre-K
In this class children are provided a safe place to learn and explore. We are currently using the Simply Loved curriculum from Group Publishing. It includes familiar ideas and theming to our Vacation Bible School that kids love seeing all year long. Children are provided a small snack as part of our lesson that is nut and egg free. |

The Movie Theater

Grade: Kindergarten - 3rd Grade
In this class room we have worship, lesson time, games, and many different ways to experience the lesson that gets kids up and moving. |
The Bowling Alley
|
Grades: 4th-8th
Students in this class start their morning in our main worship service. They will sing and pray with their families and for those that are baptized they will participate in communion and offering time. When the worship song has been sung after offering then students can make their way to the bowling alley for a time of teaching specifically for their age. |
